Freedom Fest History
Freedom Fest Fair is a mission of the Allentown Presbyterian Church whose goal is to provide area non profits and churches the opportunity to partner and fund worthwhile charitable endeavors. The Allentown Presbyterian Church has many missions throughout the world, including missions in Guatemala, El Salvador, Africa and Maine. Locally they administer the Good Neighbor Fund and many local charities. This year’s benefiting agencies from the FEST are: Allentown Presbyterian Church; St. John’s Catholic Church; St. James Church; The Give Back Foundation; Hope Fire House; Allentown First Aid Squad, Adoptive Parents of Central Jersey and Upper Freehold PTA.
SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS
The Great American Frontier and Wildlife Show
This nationally recognized exhibition features mountain lions, black bears, timber wolves, an old time juice saloon, a petting zoo, cow exhibit, live trick horseback riding and old fashioned Wild West shows. The Great American Frontier and Wildlife Show will present six shows nightly.
Robinson’s Racing Pigs and Paddling Porkers
A fair favorite, this show has exhibited throughout the United States and offers fair goers three shows nightly.
Horse Fair
The Fair is proud to offer on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and all day Saturday a variety of Horse Shows promoting the rich agricultural heritage of Upper Freehold Township and Monmouth County. The show will feature many local groups and exhibitions on the lighted show ring which boasts a seating capacity of 500 people.
Live Music
Each night, the Fair offers free live musical entertainment. Rock and Roll, Oldies, Country, Christian and Kids favorites too…there’s something for everyone.
Blue Ribbon Agricultural Shows
Throughout the week, there will be exhibits, demonstrations and shows highlighting the rich agricultural heritage of New Jersey. Stop by the Agricultural Barn and get advice on planting, growing sod, knitting and various other crafts and hobbies. There will also be a variety of livestock including cows, goats, sheep and much more on exhibit.
Stars and Stripes Agricultural Show
Drawing competitors from four states, Stars and Stripes in conjunction with the Monmouth County 4-H will host their annual Livestock Show. This major event will be held on Friday and Saturday in the Main Arena.
Spectacular Fireworks Display
On Saturday evening, the sky will be lit with one of the most fantastic fireworks display in the State of New Jersey.
Midway
This year’s midway will feature the Fair Unit of Amusements of America with over 30 thrilling rides and attractions to truly make this a memorable experience.
Food Court
Over 30 different food vendors will offer delicacies from throughout the world. Plan on coming for dinner and staying for dessert.
Corporate Expo
From buying a car to a hot tub, you will have the opportunity to shop and see many area vendors promoting their products.
Craft Exhibition
Over 30 exhibitors from the area will be promoting their wares for your pleasure.
